What is New/Unique about this Conference?

InterGenerate is collaborating with GenOn Ministries, through their Threads Within initiative, to offer opportunities for ALL ages to participate in this year’s conference! We are so excited that Threads Within seeks to weave intergenerational opportunities throughout our event. We want people to know that you can bring along young people, and others from your household, and that they are welcome to participate where they would like. At the same time, we recognize some of us will be coming to get a break, and may choose NOT to bring our young people, and that is totally ok too!

What is the Same and will not change from previous conferences?

The InterGenerate Conference will still offer all the same features as it did before: Academic Papers, Engaging Workshops, Taste and Sees, Affinity Groups, Intergenerational Worship Experiences, Prayer Chapel for All Ages, Vendors, and much, much more. Merely, we will be enhancing intergenerational experiences and offering places for younger and elder to engage intergenerationally.

When?

The InterGenerate 2027 Conference will take place June 22-24, 2027

Times: We begin the afternoon of June 22, and end mid-day June 24.

The following Pre-Conference Tracks are currently planned:

  1. Music That Makes Community Pre-Conference Workshop, June 21 - Details coming soon.

  2. Pre-Conference Global Track, June 21 (afternoon and dinner) and June 22 (morning/lunch)

  3. Intergenerational (all ages invited) Pre-Conference Mission Opportunity June 21-22 - Details coming soon.

Where?

The InterGenerate 2027 Conference will take place in the Prince Conference Center, at Calvin University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. See more here: Prince Conference Center and Hotel | Calvin University

Lodging: 69 Hotel Rooms are offered right at the Prince Conference Center, but we also plan to open dorm rooms for accomodations on campus as well. Additionally, many hotels are nearby.

FAQ

Can I bring a relative or friend to be with my children while I absorb the conference, but they will not plan to participate in the event itself? Yes, absolutely! The only cost will be lodging (if separate lodging is needed) and meals (not the full registration).
