Resource Presentation: Faith Threads: Weaving Faith Into Everyday Family Life
Explore simple faith practices that fit naturally into a family's daily rhythms, helping them grow closer to God and to each other. Gather ideas to encourage and equip parents/caregivers. Learn how GenOn Ministries' ‘Threads Within’ resources offer honest, practical, and real-life starting points for conversations about faith. Leave with two complimentary Threads Within tools to put into practice right away!
About the Presenter: Karen DeBoer is a Family and Intergenerational Faith Consultant based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She is an author, editor, and content creator known for providing practical ideas for building faith in community and at home. Most recently, she served as the project editor for the PCUSA’s Everyday Family Faith cards and created a video-based parenting course for GenOn Ministries' Threads Within. Karen has contributed chapters to two Intergenerate Conference books (2017, 2021) and is currently serving as a consultant for Threads Within.

Beginning in August of 2025 and continuing every other month until our next in-person conference, join us for a valuable hour of resource sharing by 2025 conference presenters and organizations and conversation with other folks who are passionate about intergenerational ministry. Members of cohorts which formed at the 2025 conference will join other interested intergenerational leaders from around the world at these gatherings.

Online Cohort Meetings
Intergenerate cohorts are intended to keep us connected throughout the year. They meet each month both as a small group and with the larger InterGenerate community (InterGenerate Online Gatherings- see more info above.)
On the odd months, cohorts meet virtually for resource sharing, problem-solving, accountibility, and prayer. On even months, all cohort members are welcome to register and attend for free the InterGenerate Online Gatherings (see more info above).
