A Church's Intergenerational Journey: Not Always Pretty, but It's Worth It

Rev. Theresa Cho is a co-pastor at St. John's Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Ministry that focuses on leading change in congregations using intergenerational ministry as a framework of how congregations can exist as a diverse faith community. She is a west coaster through and through, meaning she loves seafood, 60 degree weather, and the laid back nature. When she is not pastoring, she is volunteering as a baby cuddler in the neonatal ICU, subverting her husband’s diet with baked goods, cheering on her son at soccer games, being her daughter’s biggest fan, and dutifully obeying her dog’s daily demands of being walked, petted, and adored.
