Lynn Barger Elliott
Generational Theory & Faith Communities
A Boomer sent an email calling a meeting at the church at 7:00 p.m. next Wednesday. The responses came back: “Hey, can we Skype this one?” “Wait, what?” and “Sorry, I missed the meeting. I don’t check my email.” Doing church with multiple generations in leadership can be a challenge, but can also bring richness and depth. This presentation will explore the expectations, needs and gifts of each generation and offer insight on ways to work together.
