WHAT MEALS ARE PROVIDED AT THE CONFERENCE?
Four meals are covered in your registration fee:
- The Monday evening meal, an Italian buffet, will precede the evening plenary.
- Tuesday lunch will be served following a distinctive family-style approach facilitated by GenOn, one of the conference sponsors (barbecue & trimmings)
- The Tuesday evening meal is a banquet meal and will be served in the speaking venue preceding the evening plenary (Aristotle chicken).
- Wednesday lunch will be a box lunch (a fabulous chicken bistro salad with yeast roll); this meal will coincide with the Wednesday closure activities and remarks.
Special dietary needs: Please contact Task Force member Shirley Carlson if you have food allergies or other special food needs: firstname.lastname@example.org. Shirley is working with our caterers to provide special meals. Submit your request by May 15.
Breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday are on your own
(for those staying in Bison Hall, complimentary coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal, and whole fruit are available)
Breakfast on campus:
- Starbucks (Bennett Student Center, center of campus, #32 on the campus map)
- Au Bon Pain, #46 (right next to Ezell, #49—the building where our conference convenes)
Breakfast near campus (within walking distance):
- Subway (breakfast and lunch)
- The Well, a coffee shop with breakfast options
Within one mile of campus, many other food options exist if you wish to drive (Panera, McDonald’s, another Starbucks, along with many nice restaurants if you will be in town before or after the conference: Carrabba’s, Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, etc.)
HOW DO I GET THERE FROM THE AIRPORT?
The Nashville airport is 15-20 minutes from the campus.
Taxi: costs about $25; we recommend American Music City Taxi 615.865.4100
Uber: @ $18 – $20; Lyft: @ $18 – $20.
Shuttle: We recommend InShuttle.com: $14 one way, or $20 round-trip when both ways are booked together.

Please take note: If the driver puts “Lipscomb University” into his/her GPS, the directions will take you to another place on campus, not to our conference center in Ezell; please give the driver the address previously listed (4050 Belmont Boulevard, Nashville). With this address, the driver should take you to the west side of the campus on Belmont Boulevard toward the south end of the campus. Signs will be posted where to turn into the campus off Belmont; registration is in Ezell. The driver can drive you to the entrance of Ezell (handicap entrances for the building will be marked as well.)
Going to Bison Hall? If you are staying on campus in Bison Hall (#12 on the campus map), you will be able to walk from Ezell (#49) to Bison Hall (even with your luggage) after you register. However, if you wish to be dropped at Bison Hall before you register, give your driver this address: Bison Inn, Lipscomb University, Nashville, TN. It should take you directly to the Inn, where you can unload your suitcases, then walk over to register.
WHAT IF I'M DRIVING?
If you are driving, there is parking in the garage (P2 on campus map) near Ezell where you may park while registering; your car may remain in the parking garage during the conference (no charge), or you may park by Bison Inn (no charge), if you are staying there. Use the addresses listed above for getting to Ezell (and parking garage) and to Bison Inn.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Registration fee refunds are allowed through April 15 (minus a $30 fee to cover PayPal and EventBrite fees). After April 15, no refund will be issued.
